Hey, that's cool, but if I'm going to put all of this into it. I'm going to want it permenant. I don't want my cat knocking it off of the shelf and ripping it
    to shreads. LOL!

That is why I too will be hanging it from the celing AND my office is OFF LIMITS to the cat as it is so that is what I call a secure enviroment to ward off any and all CATastrophic events that could happen!

Well, I do have a cat and a Wife and the occasional nieghbor kid, all of which can be destructos.... So.... We'll see. I need to finish up the Cylon first. I did lay out several sheets of parts last night and will be having them printed on cardstock. I'm starting construction early.

My Roger Young is going to to be so big, I'm probably going to need to hang it from the ceiling.

    Hallo Folks :)

I've been lurking this thread for a while and found the Sketchup-model not very useful to base a paper craft construction on it. So i started my very own contruction last weekend. Actually the hull ist on its way to completion.

    Here are some wip-pictures:

I will publish this as PDO and OBJ, when the unfolding ist done to give you a chance for a test build. So stay tuned...

    Greetings from Germany

Except for the addition of hull frames it looks very much like the .obj that I exported from the .skp file. Having said that, I'm glad to have someone else onboard. I've started deconstructing the .obj and .pdo files that I generated from the orignal models and have the first few pages together.

Can't wait to see your future progress.

At the moment there is only little progress in my Yamato. I added the "bumps", booster rockets and the foundations of the main turrets:
