You and me both! :thumb:
The unfolding of the hull prototype has begun:
I volunteer to test build if you need testers
If you're going to be releasing this to the public, I'm going to go ahead and work on my version separately and leave this to you. Can't wait to see it finished.
are you going to build an internal structure as well?
Nope. I'm going to build the card model in sections, fill it with expanding foam and fiberglass it and smooth it with polyester resin, then prime it and paint it. Some of the parts will be made from styrene and some from PVC, wood etc....
I have only two questions about this. First, is this being modelled after the Yamato from the live-action movie? Second. will this model also be released in PDF format? From what I've been hearing on this thread, this looks to be massive. I'm so looking forward to this.
Although both versions are similiar, I really hope its after the series
I must admit I like the live action has a good color to it
I agree, but growing up watching the cartoon, Id prefer to have a series version, first, THEN a Live action version
Enough series versions "floating around"....bring on the movie version!
But not one decent one
Ahhhh....but it depends on which one you have in your collection....
I dont have one in my collection, thats the problem :C
Hey, I love the idea of making a Space Battleship New Jersey. Go for it!

Seconded!:thumb: As a matter of fact, that's what I'm going to name mine!
