Ha ha , I was going for ME! Looked at a sound system for the car and a CD burner to put all my cassettes on CD.

Dr. at the VA clinc fixed me up fine, got new dope and some more apointmens with specialists and all like that. I came for labs and did a walk in to the see the doc, get in there in only 30 minutes, how is that for luck?

Before comeing home I looked around at a couple of pawn shops for scanners and stuff just to kill time.

Morning. You Yanks trying to overrun us. :curse: Big NORTHeasterner. 40 to 50 mph winds, rain and cold. Been in the 30's. High will be a toasty 44 today. Flash flood warnings. We're OK about that as too high up. We will send yuz giz back Nawth as highs will be around 70 by weekend. :thumb: Working on revised track plan today. Got a lot of it done last night [using RR Tracks]. Got interrupted by Rolesville Town Board meeting. Have a good one.

Good Morning Everyone. It is supposed to be a cool 48 degrees here today. Mostly sunny with a few clouds. I will be helping my grandparents out for most of the morning getting everything ready for Thanksgiving tomorrow. Then have to come home and watch my niece and nephews until the sister in law gets home, then off to my trains I go.

    :wave:Have A Great Day Everyone:wave:

Going to be a warm and toastie 65 here today with lots of sunshine:) :)

Will wander down to my model train club later this morning and help get things set up for the holidays. We have open house and operating sessions every weekend between Thanksgiving and Christmas. A couple of those weekends we run only steam, so it's lots of fun to participate. Many of us bring power from our own layouts to run on these special occasions. :thumb: :thumb:

I should say medication. They never get me high unless to put me out and under but yes the VA is a good medical system. I have watched improve over the last 20 years to as good a hospital as we have here except for the food:oops:

As Ril;ey would say "what a revolting predicament this is!"

I parked my car with the lights on yesterday in the nieghbors driveway, a vacacant house he owns next to us that is on the market.

Yesterday they said something about it casualy.

Gads! It wont start today. seems the battery is dead, thwe wife tried to strat it and what litte power it had she spent.

I couldn't jump it from her socker van. I have cheap cableds but they never failed before. Perhaps when it warms up it may go.

Thing is there seems to be plenty pf spark in the battery, it sure makes the cables spark when I touched them togeter accidently. I hope it didnt hurt any of the computer stuff or the starter.

Radio and lights work OK but the engine wont click.

I have changed flats and batters all my life and I got a feeling about this one.

I would like to get that out of that drive way before they wonder down the street again checking on it.

Might just be drained down to less than 11 volts - - all those computers need 12 - 13 V to work :( I had one just like that years ago... Once we recharged it - it worked fine

take more juce to start a car, then to run the lights, or radio, and what not, let the van sit there and run with the cable hooked up for awhile, maybe 30 min, and check and see if the cables on the batt, is getting a good conection, letting harm up will help to. a battrey charger would be your best bet, if you can get it to reach the car

    Thanks Spanky.

The car started on it's own when it warmed up. Has a new battery so it beats me. I think I tripped a breaker and it reset when the temp warmed up.

That big V8 roared to life. Gosh I love that old car.
