Nice pics. you're being way too hard on yourself. You just posted some awesome pic!! You'll improve with seams as time goes one, if you wish, I can tell you how to get perfect ones., but that's nitpicking.
One thing though, when taking pictures that close, make sure you set your camera, usually there's a flower, that means "Macro" "Up Close' shot, then, you lightly press on the shutter button, this will send the infrared light out and it will bounce back to the camera to focus, you then movie the camera till the picture looks sharp, then press down all the way to continue taking your picture. When I do this with my Cannon Elph, I get around 6 or more orange squares that appear, and I can actually touch the screen to choose the focal point, and it then takes the picture. This is one reason I find cameras in phones unsuitable. for what I need. Good for social occasions, but not closeups of models.
