I wasn't going to post any pics of it, cuz my printer was getting low on ink when I printed the template, & it had some pink lines all through it. I took a gray marker to the really strong pink lines, & it actually turned out looking not half bad. I was considering this one just practice, but it's been turning out better than expected. It's still rough around the edges, but I do love this ship. These are progress pics so far, I still need to put together the flight pods.
Nice job Chadepotts! I wouldn't have known about the pink lines if you didn't mention it. Great cover up job! Looking fantastic. Keep up the good work.

I removed the doubles. You are allowed to EDIT your posts here, unlike some other forum, just click on the EDIT button, and when in doubt, start over again. I have done this, many times! :)

Ok. Thanks Zathros, much less cluttery.:) I'm still figuring everything out, but hopefully my posts & pics will be much more streamlined in the days ahead. Also, I apologize for the poor picture quality. All I have right now to take pics with is my IPad mini, so the quality is not always the greatest. Hoping to get a better camera soon.

Even with the pink lines, & my rough, amateur construction, these pics don' t do it justice. This is honestly a good looking model. & I mean that as a humble nod to the designer.

Chadepotts,

Nice job on Pegasus! The pink lines actually add something to the grey background making it unique (and pretty cool looking at the same time).

Nice pics. you're being way too hard on yourself. You just posted some awesome pic!! You'll improve with seams as time goes one, if you wish, I can tell you how to get perfect ones., but that's nitpicking.

One thing though, when taking pictures that close, make sure you set your camera, usually there's a flower, that means "Macro" "Up Close' shot, then, you lightly press on the shutter button, this will send the infrared light out and it will bounce back to the camera to focus, you then movie the camera till the picture looks sharp, then press down all the way to continue taking your picture. When I do this with my Cannon Elph, I get around 6 or more orange squares that appear, and I can actually touch the screen to choose the focal point, and it then takes the picture. This is one reason I find cameras in phones unsuitable. for what I need. Good for social occasions, but not closeups of models.
