Good Evening Everyone! I just got home from work. Really neat pictures you guys have posted ! I can't even get my picture in the box, yet! I got it in the part where you click on the profile. Anyway I got 3 Industrialrail covered hoppers, bran new, in the new boxes too, yesterday with Tom at the show for only 25 dollars ! They are like 027 cars, small, but just perfect for me. Hope to post some pics. of them if we're here for a while. I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer, when it comes to computers! :D (Always liked that saying) Hope everyone is having a nice weekend, & I sure enjoy the regulars postings! thanks, John, OTTS member#88 !

Chuck [and others], if your pictures are too big and you don't want to go through rsizing, go to Shutterfly like on CTT and do the "img" thing just like CTT. That is what I'm doing and it works great. Sanding througha nd priming too. Now to rest. Ran my post wars and all of my NS diesels before I went out to sand. :D Started to take a picture of my SD80 and the MTH Dash 8 [with Lionel smoke unit] and prove that Lionels will smoke with the old Buckeye Riveter mods. I ahd to stand over them to throw the switch for the diesel siding. Now I have a sinus headache. Smoked me out. Can't believe they don't have a spell check with all the options at the top. Well how cares. Yankees can't spell any way so they will not know when a word is wrong. ;) :p  Later

Good Evening Everyone.

Chief... Never did get that CTT and Shutterfly to work right for
me. Still trying.

John.... Nice hoppers.

Buckeye... That's a nice picture. Like your plane.

Well, we will see what tomorrow brings. CTT forum or not.

Y'all have a good evening.

Welcome, friends.
I've been a regular on this board for years. I like the software better than K's. Have you noticed that each post has a button to get you to the "first unread"?
And I think that the blue colour is adjustable. Maybe some of you will join the On30 Conspiracy.

Evening all!

Journeyman, thanks for the welcome.

I obtained a set of the IR log cars earlier this year in York. Wish I had bought another set. Looks great behind the MTH Climax. IR made some really nice and well decorated 027 stuff. I am sorry they are gone.

Another busy day today. Had a soccer game to coach at noon today due to crowded schedules around here for this sport. The guys played hard, but we lost 4-2 as the heat took a toll on the team. Took a nap unexpectedly while watching the Cowboys game. Then had to flush and clean the pool filter for the fall. Hurricane Rita winds dumped a months worth of dirt and particulate matter into the pool, clogging the filter.

Talked to my sister in Houston. All is well. You won't believe this. The way she described it, they only got "3 drops of rain." They went one night without power. Temps were in the 90s and humid, so they booked a hotel for the next night, but the power came back on.

Have a great evening all!

It's good to see some more 3 railers here.
Hope you'all stick around or at least check in once in a while.
I do a little 3 railin' these days but not as much as I did before I disassembled the layout when we moved from western Pa to AZ. I haven't found a spot for another O gauge layout yet.
I have an N scale layout we brought with us in our living room and a workshop and an HO layout in progress in an old 8'x20' travel trailer.
Until I find a permanent spot the Lionel, Marx and some scratch-built stuff comes out at Christmas.
Here are some links to threads with photos of some of my trains as well as others.

I have always liked Tom's log cars and when he tells you how he hunts them down at train shows and pays practically nothing, I really like his log cars.

I think I need log cars for the Garden RR, but they tell me the to build my own by buying only the trucks and wheels. That would be a new experience for me, but with CXTJohns help, who know. He builds the real cars.

Morning gang. See the group his getting larger. If CTT starts back up [and I here it is now], think I'll hang out here too. Ray gave us a welcome and we seem to be OK here. Give us two forums to check out. Cool and cloudy here. Got all my sanding done. Now Liquid Nails the boards to the wall. Have a great week and a great day. God Bless all.
