The head is now complete.
Now begins the tricky task: Getting that darn chick to stand.
To strengthen the joints I wrapped some paper around the pins. The upper and lower leg parts are glued together. The hip pieces are left to dry overnight to make sure that the bond is strong enough to sustain the weight of the head. The enhancements and laminations make it relatively heavy. If it topples over I'll add a rod to the bottom.
