I have now returned to this project once again.

Here is the next section of the arms.


As you can see, I have raised some of the panels to add an extra layer of depth.












Here are of the finished components to the arm section.


The arm section is assembled.


Both sections are assembled.






Next will be the hands.

Here is a link for a Lens Head model I found. It's the Lens Head Recon version. I also found a "Type B". Version. I may upload these here? Can't do that, it's against the designers wishes......Oh well.

I do have all four. It would be up to individuals to share these models, as they were once available with no strings attached, it can't be done on this forum though, to make it clear.

That looks FANTASTIC! Even though, there are some minor differences, he and I are building it pretty much in the same fashion.
I have to say. I really like the diorama.

I learned from this guy (Micro) alot for my models! He took white wood glue and mixed with a bit water and then he "painted" the whole model with it. That makes the models harder and the surface become a better coat as with sprayed clear coat. you can see this also in other threads of this guy!

Thank you for the suggestion. I have thought about "playing" with different clear coats to see which one works the best for my needs.

I can't even print right now... no color ink :-(

www.inkproducts.com has the best bulk ink prices. They buy directly from the distributor, who gets the ink from Dupont. If they have ink for your printer, you will be shocked how much cheaper it is.

Starting with the hands, Here are the parts.


The parts are assembled (with some extra added details).

Now moving on to the shoulder bands and assembly of the arms.

Here is the arm assembly!


Here are the parts for the shoulder band.


The shoulder band is complete. I lined the inside so that no "white" would be showing. I wanted the part to look like it was made from one single piece of metal.






Both shoulder bands are complete.

Now on to the torso sections.

The main toro is assembled. As you see, I have added a few greebles and augmented a few areas.












Here are the connector pieces for the waist.








I raised the center piece and the screws.




On to more of the assembly of the chest.

These are the parts for the chest plate.


I laminated the top and bottom ends to 4mm thick. I also laminated a piece for the end. This will help give strength and rigidity to the part.


I added an extra spiral of cardstock inside the former.




Both chest plates are assembled. I raised the square for the entrance for the arm socket.


I raised the front panels and the pieces that connect them.


These are added parts that go on the chest plate.


I laminated the side pieces to 2.5 mm thick.




Both pieces are assembled.
