The cockpit tub was unfolded and textured with the help of Joel Owen's excellent graphics. The joystick and its assembly was simply copied from the TF cockpit interior.

Those who don't want to add a CI may use an optional cockpit part - also fabricated with an old texture made for the Advanced Thunderfighter project.

Rhaven and I have figured out a solution to the wing mount problem. The wings must be mounted at an angle and must be prevented from waggling / sagging. On the 1/48 version I'm following Ninjatoes' example (slits inside the tubes and struts on the wings). The larger ones will feature a mounting system similar to Martin Saenger's Thunderfighter.

I'm now working on the landing gears. Major kudos go to @Rhaven Blaack who came up with an easy but efficient way of assembly. I'm refining, accurizing and texturing the parts he sent me.

Preliminary instructions are being made on-the-fly (still text only because of the lack of build pictures), so I suppose it won't take long till the first launch. ;)

@Revell-Fan I have to say that the cockpit interior looks AMAZING!
I have one question. The black squares in the bottom of the tub, should those be cut out if you are going to put a figure in the cockpit?
 
The cockpit mockup had holes in it for the actors / stand-ins to sit in. The black areas are meant to display these holes. You may cut them out but it is not necessary because I made the cockpit tub deeper than the mockup to allow a pilot to sit in. And the space that could be gained by making more room for the legs would be marginal as this render shows:

I think I have all main parts at the ready. I'll add a few greeblies to flesh out the Y-piece at the rear. The instructions need a few more notes on the landing gear assembly. @Rhaven Blaack , you may start sharpening your scissors and blades! ;)

I have a small problem, and with "small" I mean "tiny". There is a decal on the left side of the nose of the studio model. I'm trying to figure out what the text exactly says. Please take a look:

The second line is "SAFETY", followed by "ON" in a different front or two knobs. I'm favoring the knob idea since it is more logical (a place to lift off the plate). But what does the first line say? I see "AIRPLA" or "AIRPLANE" followed by something like "FERRY" or so but that doesn't make any sense. So far I'm using "AIRPLAFLIGHT" as a stand-in.

Any suggestions?
