You could weather the heck out of it and make it one of those prison ships the Brits used for 100's of years. An absolutely horrid way to go, historically accurate though. These ships were build so well, they held 600 +/- people at a time sometimes. Life aboard was beyond horrible.

No, that would be a disgrace, but if you cut the hull down here and there, you could make something similar. You could use the Hull as a plug, and using strips of paper, cris-crossing each side, make a plug, then make your "Ship Prison".

So now a beeg boo-boo in the instructions. If you follow them for the main lower shrouds you end up with a shrouds that are not wide enough, and the vertical ropes/strings are not aligned correctly. You can see below; Instruction shroud on the left, re-done one as per the deadeyes on the right.

Last ship model I did, I rigged one line at a time in thier proper locations. I love how you made the shrouds separate, then attached as one piece.
