Thanks Russell!!

I'm not sure how long it will take to finish the tracks....I always find other things to do when I build them...strange eh?
But tonight I will try to finish 20 links....my shift lasts for 12 hours,so I hope I can stay focused :)

The work on the tracks have to wait for about 3 weeks......Another vacation starts today :)

But here is the status pr today!

The track is now a bit over half the way around....

Note the track is not conneted at the front drivewheel.

Seen from the underside

The work on the Chiha will be continued when I start working again in about 3 weeks....In the meantime look out for updates on the T40!

LOL yes I'm doing a lot of vacation....I have 2-3 weeks off every 4th week plus a week of in the middle of the 6 weeks...and that makes a lot of vacation/leisure time :)
In the summer season I work 3 weeks...3 weeks off...work 3 weeks...3 weeks off etc etc.
So I just love my schedule!!

So, I was off for a couple of weeks and, I see that you've done a lot of progress on the model. It's amazing, again...
Looks like we can't stay away from this forum for so much time, we end up missing a lot of progress at real time... sign1
I hope you can focus and get the patience needed to do the tracks.

Hugs.

Hello guys!
Back at work again after a little vacation.
Still working on the tracks......

This task takes a whole lot of time and not at least patience......

I have said it before and I will say it again - your tracks put my whole models to shame! Looking great :)

Maintaining sanity isn't the biggest problem, but maintaining focus is :)
Easy to start the next model in my head when I have so little left on this one.
But I just force myselves to keep on picking the tiny link parts.....

The Chi-Ha is done

This is the finishing line for the ChiHa.The tank is so well designed that I'm going to give it a score of 100%.Every part had a 100%fit.The graphic illusion of the rivets is juts great. So my hats off to the designer of this beauty!!

Today I finished the last track and got it finished.
Here are the shots.

Thats awesome! Which photoset is giving the true color representation? It looks like some used the flash and took away the yellowish cast. What kinds of lights were you using for general lighting?
Thanks for sharing!

Thanks Chris!!

The photos are taken with and without flash.
The lights in my office are plain fluorecent tubes and a 60w light bulbe :)
So I guess the shots without flash is giving the true color representation.
