I have been told yes and no. But the diorama is set up so I can take off the buildings and put all the snow in a air tight container.

TWINS!Well at 9 pm yesterday evening they were identical.By 11pm they were what you see here.

What they are - 1:144th scale Ford Aeromax's by Racing Champions.

What they are for - They will be used on our (IronRailz) 2TRAK layout which uses only the 1-144th scale vehicles.

What was done- Fairly ovious the sleeper was removed and the frame shortened and the truck painted in real CAT yellow paint. The black one will get repainted (haven't picked a colour yet) but it will be a lot brighter than what it is now.

Will most likely get the truck finished tomorrow sometime ,all thats needed is some detail painting, windows reinstalled (I was surprized to find these little buggars have full interiors in them),cut down the exhaust stacks and install them.

I hear you scubadude. If I had more room....I guess that's the woe of every modeler. How many times have you heard, "Darn it, I just have too much room to work in!"

Here is my firetruck kitbash project finished, it looks fine, but did not go as planned, but it will do, now I just need to get a tanker and pumper with the same color scheme. The joint is not real nice, but they both sit level.

Dansco, that Kenworth is AWESOME! I am modeling northern MN, LOTS of logging trucks up there.

Here is one of my ongoing projects, a two axle tag trailer for my HO Const. CO. Next, a tri axle. and some quad axle dumps.

This time the mods aren't so radical as I just removed the penthouse from the sleeper making it a flattop.I like the yellow but may still change to a different colour.

The trailer is a Kevin Krey original, It was the first scratch build I ever took on, starting it this summer, I will redo the hitch, and build ramps for it, but its a one of a kind, I cant see spending $20 for a Custom Finishing one that has incorrect ramps.

I bought one of the Malibu Ford trucks, I think it might get a little detailing, I think a bug sheild, nice mirrors, new mudflaps and wheels, and a bit of weathering.. The gas tank is a wee bit crooked and looks too far back, but that might be tha case with the real thing. Either way I like it, now for more trailers, to give my trucks something to haul.

The more I collect the more I want to be like TruckLover and make a diorama. I have one with a firehouse and const. scene, and one for my snowplows. Maybe a shelf layout...., I mean highway is in my future to show the trucks.
