Today I have finished another part from the DS. This was the first time I made a oval shape from paper. Here are some pictures.
Next I gone make the tubes at the side and bottom of the chamber. See the green area in the picture below.
When this is finished I will start designing the parts shown below.
Its fun to design and build this model.

Sky SeekerLike the build thus far. That bulbous portion on the right side is VERY well done. Some of these complex shapes you have there can be challenging, but you have successfully done it! Nice Job.
Thank you skyseeker for your kind words. Thats the fun thing with the DS there are a lot off defferent shapes to tackle thats why I love this model.

The next step in this project took me a lot of time. Many of the same parts had to be cut, folded, rolled and glued. But the result is impressive. See for yourself.
Im almost finished with this part of the project. One last part to design and I can assemble the laser canon. The last part I have to build eight times.
