This is a modified version of UHU's C3PO model. I up-scaled him about 4 times so he stands approximately 18" tall. I installed lights in the eye sockets as per the real character.

I wanted to cut out the eye sockets so I could illuminate them from inside the skull.



You can see the fine wires disappearing into his head.

Especially at this scale, I can see a great deal of greebling potential.

I built this one (1:1 to the template) and often toyed with the idea of adding lights. What cardstock did you use?
