This is a modified version of UHU's C3PO model. I up-scaled him about 4 times so he stands approximately 18" tall. I installed lights in the eye sockets as per the real character.

I never liked that robot, but you sure built a fine example of it. ;)

This is a very good guide for building this model!
Especially at this scale, I can see a great deal of greebling potential.

RB is correct; there are not many build pics of this model available, so thank you very much for posting them. And you are going even one step further by upgrading him with electronics! thumbsup:Drinks:

Oh, I just noticed your other question! I think I am going to leave it at lighting the eyes for now :wink:

I built this one (1:1 to the template) and often toyed with the idea of adding lights. What cardstock did you use?
