1st ship - Rea Liner
Just finished the Rea Liner this past (minus the little ships that dock to it). Here are the pics:
Here are the cut out pieces.

Installing the first magnet - make sure that the magnets can attract well through the paper. Some magnets are pretty wimpy. Roll tape magnets are not so great for this model.
Use another magnet to line up the position where you want them. Also, be sure to check the orientation of the magnet. You don't want the other piece you're going to attach to go somewhere else!
Note also that as you apply the magnets you can mark where they belong before you glue them in place. Elmer's glue works fine for this (all Hail the Mighty Elmer's). The big magnet below the small magnet came with adhesive on one side. However, these big magnets aren't quite as strong as the smaller magnets.
If you are getting magnets for this project don't bother getting the the big rolled tape magnets (shown at the top). They aren't that strong:robot3:. The magnets in the lower right are the big magnets that don't attract too well.

I suspect that this is due to how they are cut from the sheet and how they are stored. They are easy to install due to the adhesive backing. However, they are also harder to line up correctly because of the adhesive backing.

The magnets to the left are quite strong and work well.

If you see magnets stored like this in series big or small get them!

They work quite well. thumbsup
Applying the magnet onto a nacelle. Note the "3" on the nacelle. This is where the little fighter planes attach.
All pieces assembled and ready to be attached together.
Two mini wings attached to the main body.
Front landing skid attached ot the main body.
That's it for now.
