Hi Rhaven Blaack,

beautiful work with the drone thumbsup. I love the raised components. It makes the model look more realistic.
I'll try to do the same when I'm finally get to build mine. I'm still cutting out the parts and there are still other unfinished projects.

Great that you provided very detailed pics about the arm assembly. They can be used as reference when building these guys :)
I think the arms are the most complicated parts on this model.

Well good luck with the other two drones.
I'll be watching closely. ;)

Thank you very much. was a fun model to make. I am quite certain that the other two builds will go easier (now that I have the model mapped out in my brain).
You are right. The arm assembly is the must challenging part of the whole model.

I look forward to seeing how yours turns out! I wish you the very best of luck with it and I hope that you enjoy the build as much as I did.

Extraordinary work. This, like several constructions that little by little I go snooping are invaluable to be learning to detail a model, which although in itself is already magnificent, can always be improved with something extra.

Nice! Although I would have made a Triad deck.
Thank you. Do you mean a Pyramid deck? In the original BSG the poker game was called Pyramid. Triad was the funny "basketball" like game.
With that being said, I have plans for something along that line.
KEEP WATCHING!

Taking printed texture and layering it (either by raising, recessing, or a combination of both) is the most simple (and quite effective) way of adding detail to any model. I learned this technique with building the BRTC25 Thunder Fighters and adding detail. Please check out the "Detailed Thunder Fighter Project". There, you will find ideas on how to easily add detail.

The reboot switched them.

Impressive, very good start. I was lucky, I was able to get the models of the 3 robots by email when it was posted. Unfortunately, no more possibility to write on its site and no response by email. No matter his current choice of model does not suit me.
