How many of you have a local layout tour?
Have you had tours for a convention in your area?
I asked this on a British forum and I don't think they have them.
Many NMRA conventions (all the national and most regional) have tours. Even some divisional meets may have a small tour. At the national level, they have themed tours (narrow gauge layouts inspired by Paul Templar, Z layouts in guitar cases) and geographic tours (Brampton and Georgetown).
Bothe the Kitchener area and London (in Ontario) have a day each year where you can buy a map and drive yourself to a varied collection of homes and clubs to see layouts.
So, who else has a group that organizes a local tour every year?
