For the record, I am in no way affiliated to the company, I chose my nick only because I grew up with their models and the fact that they were the first to offer BSG models made me an even bigger "fan"Well you would, wouldn't you - with a name like that!

If you were affiliated with "Revell", I'd be hitting up for some of your "Secret Stash" of models.
i would be happy if i could work for revell, then i would not need to buy my models

About 25 years ago, when I read the Monogram company went up in flames, and the Fire department used Sea water to shut off the flames, ruining every mold they had stored, I went to all the Hobby Shops around here and purchased the 1/8th scale Jaguar XKE Models that been sitting way up on the shelves for years, for around $35 bucks to $45 bucks each. Around 8 models in total I purchased. Over the next few years, I sold them all except 2 for $250 dollars each, as this was the last of them. I was restoring real Mercedes Benz cars and flipping them, so I knew the people who owned these Jaguars, and each one of them purchased a model, after they found out no more would ever be produced. They still get top dollar on EBAY. Another series of models that bring big bucks are the old "Jo-Han" plastic, and early Revel plastic models, that are no longer being made..
The pic below is of a Chrysler Turbine car by "Jo-Han", and it's going for $105 dollars, and the box is open!! The detail is amazing though, Painted up correctly, these models sell completed/painted on Ebay for $45, sometimes a lot more, depending on the car.

There are those who believe that some people who happen to be members of this forum are in fact creating models which have never been made before on their own. Personally I would not believe any of these rumours but you never know..!i would be happy if i could work for revell, then i would not need to buy my models

I like how you are working on this model.
And I agree with Zathros and RF there will come more models that never have been build before. But I think with the 3d printing lot of people will start printing all kind of models.
