Excellent work Belg. Instead of colour for the blocks why not just do a wash of some water mixed with black ink to give a bit more texture. Black dye would work too.

I would agree with Matthyro that a thinned black wash would finish off things nicely!

I would also recommend the black ink wash. The foundation/first floor looks like cut limestone blocks to me - they are almost always a nice grey tone.
