The cap from "Back To The Future II" under construction

Hello, there!
I have been gone from this site for about half a year due to work, work, work!
Now I am very happy to be back again!


Time for a new build! The shiny cap from BTTF II worn by Marty McFly in 2015!

I found images of the cap from all angels and just used the duck cap papercraft found via Google (I have no source on who made it) and then adjusted the pieces in size and also the number of pieces.
A layer of clear coat made the pieces somewhat shiny as well!

I printed the back of the paper black before I cut the parts except for the front part (the sun visor or whatever it´s called). It shouldn´t be shiny according to movie stills I saw online so I just printed it to look like kind of a rainbow!

Then I just glued it all together! Well, that took almost two hours!

So here it is from a lot of angles next to a real cap (to show size), almost finished...

...except for a tag that I just put there for clarity since I guess there must be some people that haven´t seen the BTTF trilogy (no, really, there must be some, right)!
Anyway, at least the finished cap looks similar to the one in the move, so I´m happy with it!!
