That is really excellent and informative.
Thanks Zathros, This thread is for all modelers, to show that a good model can always be upgraded to look more real. All it takes, is imagination
The bombs really makes it look even more aggressive. About the missile colors, Newobmij noticed it after looking at the 360 spin of my version, it is him who forgot to recolor them. I do like the idea of several missile tips as the launchers are supposed to be able to launch at least 2 and optionally 3 kinds of missile (anti-personel and anti-tank).
Waiting for your walker impatiently, will the lower section of a sentinel work? Maybe slightly scaled up.
Yes, the missiles were kind of not well balanced in the printout, but it is still a great model as is. One thing about the bombs, is that they are really not that hard to make (At least not for me) For the legs, I was going to use the defiler legs, but I do not like the way the join to the hip section. I will go with the Sentinel legs but upscaled a bit larger.
As always, you have done a PHENAMINAL job on this model. It is a BRILLIANTLY done piece of art.
KUDOS to you on another fine job well done.
Thank you Rhaven, As mentioned above to Zathros, it is to help modelers to see what can be done with a great model.
YA done good!
Thank you Armorman, I wish I had the time to do at least half of the models designed by Eli, but ten comes along a great model that moves to the top of the list. There is another one that just came out but I will restrain myself from building that jet bike and continue with the other Storm Talon variations.
So here are the last photos of the Storm Talon and a few from the cockpit for the Manned Walker. The cockpit is almst the same as the Storm Talon but I did some modifications in the build process and the cockpit should be as close to the GW version as possible. The photos are out of sequence but the numbered ones, are for the manned walker. Enjoy and see you all next posting.
