I got the upper hull cut out,


And a piece of cellophane cut and glued to be the front window.


And started to shape it...


I'm going to build the shell around the interior.

Seen a few people out there recently building a 3d printed version of this craft... never thought I'd see a paper version.

Today I got the top plate cut out and preformed.


and started gluing to the upper hull.


and glued to the upper hull, but the window transparency fell out.


I cut some strips of paper to secure the front edge to the lower lip, and I'll get the window glued back in.

Even though it is a very simple model, it appears to have a great deal of greebling potential.

Use some very strong double-sided tape to attach the clear sheet. This method is cleaner and more secure and you don't have to deal with curing time.

Window re installed, but wrinkled.. Grrrr..


interior installed.



I found Scotch brand 3M double sticky craft tape.

It looks like a soda pop bottle might have the right curvature on the neck area for that window?
