Hello guys! after a very long absent (that include shoulder bursitis recovery and an elbow surgery) i'm back to the board. I have very little time because i returned to the university to finish my degree (after 12 year quit.. i'm crazy) and now i'm very close to get it.
But
I had hard times with study and decided to relax a little, so i can back to business with my head fresh. Not much, a couple of days will have to do. And Papercrafting had this effect on me.

I choose this beauty. And again i want to thank Revell-Fan and Rhaven for sharing such a delicate work. 3d designs don't honour this work, is far more awesome than the 3d designs intent.
As you have imagine, i can only relax a little, i have to back to the books. So, i committed hurry crime. But i'll have to do.

I'll just add to be sure and watch the shape of the fuselage, and engines, as they are almost, but not quite round. It is a great model, and a stunner once finished.

This will be with no video, nor all the fancy stuff that i normally do, just the raw workshop.
You can see that initially had in mind to cut the tabs, but this will take time, so latter i leaved like they are.

This will be my next model. A series of shapes with grey outlines and A LOT of numbers on them.

Thank you, it's fun, and it's different from the other works that i've done in the past. Mixing thicknesses is something that i'm not very used to. I know that doing things right is a big difference when it comes to this, but i'm most used to just print on 120gr paper and go go go. So i have a very nice challenge here. I guess i'll have to build a squad in order to get practice. Hell, maybe i'll put in the viper's the 5ta Brigada Aérea logo

Yoy can see in the last pictures that i can be heterodox with the building doctrines sometimes when it comes to laminate or gluying

The viper's cabin resembles more to the birds that nested on the 6ta though

WOW! Fortunately that hammer was not in the vecinity when I was building the Aston Martin.

You do know that the F-16 was nicknamed "the Viper" because the pilots compared their planes with her?

I noticed that you tend to cut off the flaps of the parts. This will certainly bring the model to the top level. The shape of the nose is spot-on!

Yes it's a thing that i tend to do, or at least i intent (cut off the flaps i mean). There are a lot of good practices that i don't do, but this i try. I guess i will rush things out from now on. But i promise the viper will have a second, not rushed, proper build, with a video consisting of lots of ants moving and assembling her parts.

You will see that i made a mistake here. I underestimated the complexity of the cabins build, specially the glasses and the strengh that i can have from that. So, 2 things came out at the same time: in one hand, the glass cabin doesn't like to be widened. On the other hand, when i glued the inside of the cockpit to the fuselage, it got very strong. So, as a result, the was a gap between the two, and i can see throught the black gap. I came with a patch.

Great solution! Yes, the cockpit cutout is very unforgiving because of the curve at the back. That is something she has in common with the car version of her.

Yes it is a Ferrari 312. The idea was to customize it, but never started, so there it is, a picture in the wall.
Oh by the way, i see that my english writing is awful! you will have to be a little patient, because i almost never go to the translator.

I don't know what happened here! i don't remember having this accident. I laminated inside of the engine to "cure" things there.
