Minsk and Boo, from Baldur's Gate video game

This is the 25mm scale figure of Minsk, the ranger, and Boo, his pet miniature giant space hamster.

The figure is a Wizards exclusive that comes with the Nozul's Marvelous Pigments basic paint set.

It comes unpainted, and is a little bent. Two coats of AV Vallejo acrylic polyurethane primer grey have been applied.

Now give it 24 hours for full cure and start the painting.

The first coats of primer have revealed a few molding flaws, aside from the bent sword, so I am now in the sanding and filling stage.

This pic shows the offending area after the first round of sanding.

And this is a pic from the IDW comic, "Legends of Baldur's Gate" that I am going to use to base my painting off of, mainly colors and his face tattoo.

And a pic of him re primed to show anymore flaws.

Here is how he sits now, reprimed, and the basic is blacked out as an undercoat for stonework.

Finally an update on Minsk and Boo, I forgot to take pics as I base coated him.
First pic is base coated and washed,

next with highlights applied,

and a few tufts of grass applied to jazz him up a bit...
