This would be so neat with a few micro servos, and an Pi running it thru a few routines. The micro servos can be found cheap enough, but I have no idea what a Pi costs.

What flavor of PIE should I use? I do favor a good meat pie, nice thick gravy and mashed potatoes.
Just joking, of course. That is a very good idea. I have also thought about putting a small (functioning) camera in the head (to make it a "nanny" cam).

Moving on to the lower arm and elbow sections.
Lower arm+elbow.png

Here are the parts for the lower arm and elbow components.

The parts are assembled.

The lower arm and elbow are assembled.

The lower arm assembly is attached to the upper arm.
(*NOTE* I made a mistake by permanently attaching the the lower arm to the upper arm so that the elbow does not move. Oh well. I am not worried about it.)

Both arms are assembled.

Next will be the hands.

My fiancé and I had to run some errands today. Whilst we were gone, my dog (who is a 7 month old Great Dane mix, puppy, that is 95 lbs./43 kilos) complete destroy both the arms and legs.:fireguy::hammerhead::headbange::realmad:
So, I am at a crossroads. Do I start over or put this project on hold and start over at a later date?
Needless to say, I am rather irate with the situation. :realmad::headbange::hammerhead::fireguy:

I have plans to rebuild the entire collection of all four of them. It is just a matter of when I get around to them, of course.
Here is a picture of the original ones that I built (whilst I was in Eastern Europe).
(*NOTE* The stick that are in the hand of the two robots were my idea. I was in a weird mood when I did it.)

Oh that really "bites",................... sorry, couldn't resist it. My dog ate the two last models I had made, both 90% done, the last was that "McLaren M8" paper model, that was coming out so good, it disappeared, and 2 days later, I found it's remains on the lawn, where my dog had pooped it out. Both the model, and the dog, went through a lot. They had a relationship that I never shared. I should build that model over, full Interior, but the effort gets really drained when something like that happens.

You would have to start again, you could always consider doing one it Tin, like "Roof Flashing", or soda/beer cans, and glue the paper on top. At least it would be harder to eat, but with a dog that big, it's no guarantee.

I just noticed that YMJR's website is gone. If anyone is interested in this model let me know. I think I will upload it to the forum, it would be a shame to not have. The model has a fully detailed frame and everything is visible with the body removed. :)

To be honest, I have thought about trying my hand at building models from aluminium cans. However, I have done such. So, I would have to practice a few times to see what works and what does not. I would have to contact @gman_93643 and have a few questions answered, before move forward with such a project like that.

As for you uploading the model template of the race car, I would say; "GO FOR IT"! If you have the entire collection from the website, go ahead and upload EVERYTHING!

I will have to start digging into the Hard Drives to find them.

The tin models to take practice, I don't know, some models seem to really seem to call for such a thing, but you do such an excellent job with the paper, stick with the paper. Also, no toxic glues needed to glue together with paper! :)

Thank you all for the kind words and encouragement. I greatly appreciate it (especially after this little setback)!
With that being said, At the time of the incident (of the dog eating the arms and legs), I had already started working on the upper torso (which I was mostly finished). So, I have decided to continue this project.

Here is the Torso.
Chest-upper torso.png

Starting with the main part of the torso. I have raised the panels around the component.

Yes, I will be rebuilding the arms and legs. However, I will not post photos (to save time). So the next photos to be posted will be those of the waist/pelvis assembly.
