Kawasaki Ki-45; 1:33; Fly Model

Hello everybody!
Today I bring the beginning of a new montage.
The Ki-45 is an old Fly Model.
The model despite having only 260 parts and appearing to be simple to assemble, sometimes the excess of simplicity also ends up bringing its own difficulties.
To begin with, I show you a photo of the cover and the assembly of the front part of the cockpit.

Rhaven Blaack, I have big hope that this model turns out very beautiful. For what I know some modelers liked to build this model others didn´t and ended up giving up.

I just assembled the tail of the Ki-45. So far so good.

One more advance.
All fuselage sections are ready to be glued together.
I had to trim some cardboard pieces. The result is not perfect but it is good in all but the central section of the fuselage.

That is good. There would be something wrong with it if it would look like a toaster.

You are making great progress, tino. Your cuts are very clean and precise!

The wings are already glued.

The lining of the wings was correct but some pieces of cardboard had the left / right markings mixed up.

The hardest thing was guessing whether the interior parts of the landing gear were right. I found out later that they were switched...

You have done an excellent job on all the seams and joints. This is one good looking plane, and not one you see much at all.

The engine mounts fitted very well except for the front part of the engine cover and the fact that I couldn't tell if the parts inside the landing gear wells have the left/right markings swapped.
Another thing. Landing gear doors are glued and then cut for landing gear installation.

Finally the Kawasaki Ki-45 is finished.
A model that turned out to be very beautiful and that, despite not being very complicated, has some design problems that could have spoiled everything.
I also leave a photograph that represents the original plane that is reproduced in this model.

Chuffy - You're right. It remains to show the assembly of the landing gear but that part was a little tense and uncertain that I ended up not even taking pictures.
