Small steps to get the X-Wing.
As mentioned the back plate in the described way and the start of the structure.
All parts glued to card-board, what also means that the small parts have to be adjusted as described in the description.

I must say you are really making this model square and true. This will really help you down the line, just remember, to keep it that way, whatever you do on one side, do on the other!! :)

:)
Bottom hull attached - wanted to start with upper hull, but now I am not sure whether it might be better to
start with the cockpit.
I will cut all the necessary parts and try to assemble without using glue to check how the assambly works best.

Part 10 is not necesary, I did not use it. But it is suppose to go to the front fuselage (see instruction for fuselage, there is 10(?) description in front of the upper fuselage)

Part F17 goes where I have the hole in bottom fuselage

I did top part of hull like on this photo:

When I was in this stage I made cockpit and put it in:

Your best yet. Fix the corner on the front right side of the Pilot's view, front of cockpit, to tuck it in a bit, should be an easy fix. ;)

@ zathros - I think I know what you mean:
upload_2019-3-6_20-43-0.png
thx for the tip - will do so.
I started with the next parts - and noticed too late that maybe part 11 might be better than part 10. I thought that it might be possible to wrap part 11 at the end of the process, but
it does not work.
So I will do the next one using part 11 and then check which way I will do all 4 engines.
Pictures to follow.

Thx bigpetr.
I did E11 on E10 - when dry - formed to the desired ring form. Rest as described in the instruction.
See picture for comparison - one with E11 and one without.
Will do all with E-11.
----
Forgot to mention: to avoid white edges I painted all parts before putting together.

Oh, forgot to ask:
What are the two parts P3 for?
I did not see any use in the instruction. - Thx in advance for any idea.

I do it the same. It is common practice I think - to paint edges before assembly.

P3 are for this:

I do not know if P3 will work with mooving wings. I did not do them moovable so after I glued wings in position I used P3 to cover the area.
