I've mentioned once I want this to be the next "MOM". It is the best one I have seen. Where did you get the wrench or socket to torque those wings down?
That video made me laugh. They talked about a bad capacitor, they come in all sizes, some are as big as small buildings, they more often than not buried. That's how NASA ignited the Saturn V rockets. Free energy stored, and topped up capacitors (they leak).
If need more capacitance, run 2 in parallel, need less, run them in series (Product over sum is the formula). What I'm trying to express is that voltage is the main issue, it's easy to use or scavenge capacitors to get the value you need. An Opto-Isolater would prevent voltage spokes, depending on what you are using the capacitors for, they have a lot of uses, but most are to smooth a circuit to a pure D.C., or in an A/C circuit, as an Equivalent Series Resistors, yes, in A.C.circuits Capacitors act as resistors (not Electrolytic though, they are polarity sensitive, D.C. only). I've made them from scratch. Not difficult at all, take one apart, you'll see for yourself. That's why the F.B.I had so much trouble catching the Unibomber, he made everything from scratch. It was his brother that recognized his manifesto, and turned him it (they could have released it 5 years earlier). The simple technology left nothing when it blew up, just paper and maybe some wiring.
This is one beautiful model. Worthy of a U.V. protected case, so you can have it for many years without dust and the other elements destroying it.
