Thank you all for the kind words, its a great kit to work on and easy enough to greebly up lol 
So where are we.....the head/cockpit is pretty much done, aside from any last tidying up, the left cheek weapons are in place now
The only change i made was to the mounting brace (part 94) - this is a flat piece but looking at reference i noticed the mounting brace seems to be a rod/drum so i used a rolled up piece of card and glued that in place with CA to give it a bit of extra strength.
The next part is the engine block/torso section which i shall be starting shortly. Again ill greebly where i can. The other thing with this part will be running cables from this section to the cockpit (they run between the two and under the chin) so lets see how that goes lol

Right so here we are onto the next bit - the engine/torso:
So i printed out a cpl copies so i could greebly the details up a bit. The neck 'ring' was laminated about 4 times, along with the two internal braces for the hips (parts 27a) the two rear 'exhausts' were also laminated about 4 times for a bit of extra depth before being added into the rear, which was then glued together. As this dried i set about cutting detail greeblies from the spare copy before laminating and adding these to the outside hull, finally going over with an acrylic marker for some basic detail. (ill be adding more weathering etc later) The next part is the 'neck' itself then onto the hips.

I realy lovethegreebling you are adding I will keep this in mind when I will build an at vehicle.
And on and on......
The 'torso/engine' part is almost done bar the cables i have to put in place. Having a look at the reference i have i noticed that the two front side parts (89/90) (where there is a round 'wheel/disc and 'wishbone' arm' as seen in blue circle) does seem to have a 'hollow' 'wishbone' (you can see circled in the reference image) which i decided to try and replicate. I laminated these parts to about 2 mm and (very) carefully cut the centre of the 'wishbone' out - youll see in the pics that initially my attempt at gluing didnt work out too well so i had to re glue, but once dry it was mounted in place on either side after tidying and colouring with acrylic markers. It wasnt a majorly 'necessary' thing but i thought it added a nice touch.
Ive put the 'neck' rings in place ready to mount the head/cockpit once the legs are done, so its just a few cables to put on the engine hull which will probably be cut from wire or thick cord and coloured with acrylic markers.
So here are the pics so far, the next set should be of the hips and tops of the legs, so we are slowly getting there lol.

so quick update......i cut a few lengths of wire and using the reference put them in place on the engine/torso using a fine drill, clippers C/A before giving them a go over with a black acrylic marker.

Nice cables! I forgot to add them on my prototype. The legs will be fun - lots of plates to laminate and cut out! 
So the hip joints are done, a reasonably straightforward process all together. As you can see from my crappy pics 
i laminated both sides twice, and also did a second spare set too. Once all the parts were dry they were hole punched, cut, and glued together. Once i was happy that the brackets fit fine i used the spare copies to just add a little 3D detail to the panels, tidied them up with acrylic markers, fit the brackets in place, then added the rods (small skewers) cut them to size, and done. Theres a cpl pics to show the progress so far while i get cracking on the legs lol

construction started on the legs, once the tops are ready they will be joined to the hip section. Once all the core parts are done i can do the greeblying details, get the pose set and secure the joints in place. hope to have some more pics soon 
So...its all in the hips (so they say ) The hips, having dried well enough, were ready for fitting to the torso. Here is where i had an interesting 'oh!' moment *for the record, this conversation has been pre approved by the almighty designer and occasional host of the shrinkray, Mr Revell Fan, designer of this very kit) So get comfy, get a coffee, and listen ye to a tale....dragons....knights.....oh, err, wrong narrative lol
So back when we are putting the torso section together (part 27) we are directed to punch a hole in the sides (via adding strengthening part 27a on the inside 'side') ready for when the hip brackets will be added later - we then do the same again to the secondary outer 'sides' 89 & 90 which fit over the previously cut holes (see pics) Then once the torso is all finished we move on to the hip brackets - parts 45, 46, 48, 49 and parts 47 x 4 for the small bracket/hinge - one of these will fit to the torso on either side, the other to the top of the legs. As youll see in the pictures part 47 has a small flat tab on the end, which is attached to either the torso or leg (here was my OH! moment) looking at the hole i had punched into the torso previously - then the tab on the hinge (47) i realised this was a flat tab fitting to a round hole. Hmm. My worry was that (knowing me) i would fix the flat tab into the round hole, put the legs together, and the whole thing would crumple. (quickly messages to our very own Revell Fan to see if this was just me being mental or a design thingy)
Having had a chat and bounced some ideas about, i came up with a way that (may) help resolve this issue for future builds, if anyone needs it. So........on to the MacGyver moment...
The holes through the torso line up - so (one) idea is to push an appropriate size rod through and cut to size (almost flush/flat) to the torso - cut the small tab off part 47 where it fits to the torso, and fix this instead to the rod with a strong adhesive like C/A. Another is using card, punch the same size hole used for the one in the torso - but using the discs created, laminate about 4/5 together so it forms like a 'plug' once dry, cut the tab from part 47 and attach them at a 90 degree right angle with a strong adhesive like C/A - once dry again using C/A fit the 'plug' into the hole at the desired angle/pose and let dry well. (you can also just cut a small length of rod for the same purpose)
As you can see from the pics i used the laminated card method, which seemed to work pretty well for my purpose. Im sure there are plenty of other easier methods that could be used, but in a pinch this is what i thought of lol
Anyway, here are some progress pics, including a cpl for the lower leg parts (which follow the laminating process and uses spare copies for greeblying)

Coming from the man himself, i blush sirWow, that disc doesn't look too bad!
it was just one way i thought you could do it, seems to work for my build if anyone wants to try it. I decided to do it because this model will be on a scenic base (more on that to come) and i wanted to makesure it was sturdy on its base. Currently working on the core parts for the legs and feet atm, once ive got more done ill put some pics up Currently chipping away at the legs and feet, almost there......
The lower part(s) of the legs had already been cut, laminated, glued, 'layered' and tidied up, so the last part(s) to do are the feet and 'thighs' These have been laminated to about 2mm, hole punched and glued - apart from part(s) 50/53 (the two outside 'covers' - ill add these on when im ready to pin the leg joints so i can get the pose i want for the diorama later. Also there is some further detailing to add to the upper legs which ill be using some spare copies to do. The other part(s)
being put together are the two feet - these were laminated a cpl times for a bit more strength, cut, scored, hole punched and readied for final building while working on the 'ankle' joints - these parts (71a) require more laminating to make the lower leg (58/59) to sit snugly between them, so ive ended up laminating them up to about 3mm just to make sure they are a tight fit - once im happy with the pose all the joints will be glued for sturdiness.
Once these parts are finished and tidied, its just some general going over, a last cpl details, and then ready to show

Been a bit busy the past cpl of days (decorating) but finally got some progress on the feet lol. These are reasonably straightforward to put together, the core parts (71) forming the inner 'shoe' that the 'ankle' joint of the lower leg fits into. As per the instructions to do this we laminate parts 71a (2 for either 'foot') enough for the lower leg to slip snugly in between. It was here i decided to modify the construction, and having laminated the parts 71a a reasonable amount (with a little 'wiggle' room in between) i decided that i would also reinforce the lower leg 'ankle' joint (part 58/59) i did this by using a few spare copies cutting off the 'disc' from the bottom of the leg, punching the hole the the centre and then laminating these onto my original lower leg/ankle 'disc' until it was thick enough to fit between parts 71a - the reason for this was that i felt my leg/ankle was a bit flimsy, and reinforcing both the foot and ankle parts would benefit all round. Once all dry the remaining outer 'boot' (72) was glued in place around the core 'shoe' and then the last detail parts (73/74/75 'toes') were put together and secured in place. A bit of tidying, edging with acrylic marker and the addition of a rod to hold the foot/ankle together, and done.
All that is left now is some detailing up on the upper legs, and last bits of 'housekeeping' before its ready for its final posing. After this, we move onto the next stage of the build, which will be the diorama. Hopefully the next set of pics will show the ATST all done and put together.

The best thing about the legs is that you can decide how thick you laminate them. Just keep the same thickness on all parts.
I wanted to keep close to the instructions of the build, but realised that my builds ankle joint, although sturdy, may benefit from a little extra lamination around the joint lol just my take - i think its also materials/card types used, but i wanted to be safe so when it goes on display itll stand in place securely (that and we have cats lmao)
