Moving on to the "box".
These are the parts for the front of the "box" (right behind the cab).

I attached the greebling and the sockets for the connector pieces that will help support the cab to the box.

I decided to laminate the parts to 2mm.

This model is really awesome. It's probably far better than the ambulance itself, having been transported to the hospital twice this year in one of these, it rode like an Oxcart. I don't know why Ford can't make the utility box float on dampening cushions, or anything that would ease the patients journey, who already is in much pain, and these things feel like they are riding on steel/wood wagon wheels!

Your model is great though. I think it has commercial potential. ;)

Yes, I too have had the (dis)pleasure of riding in one of this very vehicle that I am building the model of. I agree that some sort of dampening cushions would be nice to have installed on the vehicle. It would also make it easier for the medics to do their jobs as well. However, I think that it might be (slightly) cost prohibitive for the fire departments and ambulance transport companies to afford.
