It's interesting to see how close you have come to 1/32. It clearly shows in the picture with the pilot figure. There is only a 6% difference which makes your plane about 1/34. The detail looks great and the weathering makes it look even more substantial and massive. thumbsup

I like the raised panels. Next time go with very thin paper and you will get the effect you're looking for, though this version is really coming out great!! I like the look of the model. It looks like it's seen some action. :) thumbsup

@ Zathros: Thx for the tip. I will consider within the next project.
Enclosed final pics - it was a great fun to build this Viper.
THANKS AGAIN TO REVEL-FAN AND RHVEN BLAAK for this beautiful model. :Bravo::Bravo::Drinks:

I compared with the plastic model of Moebius.

Thank you very much! Your words mean much to me. Your enhancements make it look even better than the standard release. :Drinks: :Bravo::Congrats:

BTW, someone is waiting even longer for an 1/18th scale version..! ;)

Adding details only makes sense if the standard release allows it. And - to be honest - this is not always the case. (This is my problem at the moment - I think of making a Cylon Raider, but the standard release is good, but not on the level as your Viper - not sure what do do at the moment.

1/18 wow that will be really big - it will make adding details more easy .......maybe....... ;-)

This only (TOS) Raider that I know of was made by Muprhyaa. Awhile back, I had attempted to make it. There are some flaws in it that he needs to correct. I have reached out to him about these flaws and requested he to make the corrections. He did say that he would get to it when he had to time.

I have a good SketchUp model to begin with (I found it in the Warehouse) but it needs some work and I just don't have the time to tackle it. So I'm too looking forward to Murphy's revision.

Can you turn that Sketchup model down to Ver. 8? If you could, I could run it through Rhino3D. ;)
