Apologies to you all for no recent updates or posts.
My cat Hudson, whom some of you have seen in my pictures became unwell, with a heart condition causing fluid build up.
Various tests were done to see what could be done to help his condition - but this was not to be.
Just over 2 weeks ago I said goodbye to my righthand man, legwarmer, sometimes head! ...and all-round, one of the most characteristic cats I have ever known. 10 years to the very day, March 2013, Hudson entered our lives - on 10th of March 2023, he departed.
The past week has been very hard, and only the day before yesterday his last results came in and we were optimistic about a recovery, but last night without warning he had a traumatic seizure - I spent the remaining few hours of his life with him in my arms, until the veterinary surgeon confirmed our worst fears and my partner were told there's no hope other than to end his life.
It was truly heartbreaking to watch my furry man pass away and furtherly the most upsetting burial I have ever done, sobbing like a gibbering idiot. It took all my strength and gusto to lay him to rest...
He now shares his soil with our other gone, but not forgotten companions and personally I would like to thank anyone who stops by to read this, I'm thoroughly heartbroken and have lost all enthusiasm to build anything for awhile.
My beloved Hudson - boy I sure do miss you!
