A river is about to appear

Chris here are some I made a couple of months ago.
The technique is just about what Val described I took some #12 thhn wire and twisted the bottom tight , paint the trunk, bend the branches over and spray with cheap hairspray and add WS t49 blended green second coat with hairspray and repeat application until thickness is right (N scale)

Chris, the rocks look great, but I think the riverbed is too blue. The colour depends on how deep, and how clear or muddy the water is. Slow moving rivers seem to be muddier, fast moving more clear. Deeper water is darker, sometimes all the way to black. Check out some of these photo's for some colour ideas.

If you do the WS water effects it can do a nice job for the streamlets and water pipes just follow the directions and it does take it a few days to dry clear so be patient. Don't make the mistake I did and pour the regular water to deep on the first pour, more pours are better.
Looking good so far. :thumb: :thumb:
