The problem with markers, is that they can bleed into the parts. I have always used tempera water colours and dry brush painting.

@Revell-Fan sent me updated (and albeit better looking) rear mud flaps (with extra parts to greeble out the flaps). I raised the strip with the fastener bolts and the logo plate. The mud flaps are attached in place.
