    Star Wars Tie-Phantom Building Thread

Main body connected with the cockpit. To make the model more interesting I cut some parts out and doubled others. Furthermore I gave some colour on selected parts. The wings seem to me not stable enough, so I will add some enforcements. Pictures to come.

Millenium Falcon (version of the movie "Solo") building thread

Thanks for the tip. I just do not understand what is meant by "vut". -I did many additional details, but only on 180gr paper - so they unfortunately do not pop up :realmad:

    Star Wars Tie-Phantom Building Thread

Hi togehter, I saw this fighter in the PC-game called "Rebel Assault II", which I still love to play. If you edit your difficulty level you can not die in any mission, and with the enclosed cutscense it is like looking a Star Wars movie. The model I found is not very detailed, therefore I...

I See. I also did the rebel fleet first before thinking of making ships of the empire. But - without the empire it would only be "star" and no "wars";) Still on my to do list the B-Wing, the Y-Wing and the Moldy Crow. But sure also some of the ships of the dark side.

Star Wars Tie Fighter Building Thread

So final pics. As always I have some white paper flashing. As this model is grey I use my graphite (which I also use for my drawings) to hide them. The graphite is also used to weather my models. Difficulty 2,5 of 5 Display 4 of 5 Very funny, very fast build.

Star Wars Tie Fighter Building Thread

I think this model is rather fast and easy to build, but shows enough details to be a model which is worth finding a place on the shelf. The other ones (Ninajoes/Loefns and UHUs) are more detailed and mayby more difficult to build - but sure worth to be build and on my to do list. I find it...

;) next steps - and final parts to cut and mount. I am surprised how fast this model comes together. Parts / Details are nice and the description is very good to understand.

You can see the axis what I ment. Sure it would be possible to cut it and to mount it on the left and right side to be able to insert the cockpit, but for the moment I am fine with this version.

Star Wars Tie Fighter Building Thread

@ thx for the ideas for the cockpit. It is hard to combine any of the suggested cockpits with this model, as the axis for the wings is going through the cockpit in this version. So for the moment I will do this model as it is delivered. Uhus Interceptor is on my to do list and I think about...

Star Wars Tie Fighter Building Thread

Hi guys, until now I only built ships of the Rebel Alliance and forgot to make ships of the Empire. This changes now: Tie Fighter from Shunichi Makino - a beautiful model - thanks for sharing. As I checked the parts I have to state that it is a very detailed model. Only thing missing is the...

Thanks for the tip. Tips, tricks or constructive criticism is always welcome. Unfortunately I saw the tip too late. I already finalized the droid. But I will keep it in mind for the next round pieces to be formed.

Me too ;-)) As already mentioned: I replaced the gluing tabs by gluing stripes. New: I used wooden sticks to make the antennas.

The model is delivered with gluing-tabs. I mostly cut them and replaced them with gluing stripes. I hope this helps to make the rounds more precise. We will see.

    Star Wars BB-8 building thread

Hi together, to complete my Star Wars stuff, I also have the plan to build some of the droids. This model can be found in the resources section. This is a model I already built before, but I gave it away as a gift for my nephew. The main problem of this droid, that nearly everything is round...
