Thanks Chris. That was the same one that I found on my previous search.

How many are in Model RR Clubs?

Brakie - sounds like you're a real character! Chris - I did a search under Train Clubs to see when the last thread was and it was, I believe, last December; but did not try Model RR Clubs or other combinations. But, still nice to hear what others are doing. Some people have had...

How many are in Model RR Clubs?

I was just wondering how many of you have been or are currently in Model RR Clubs. And if you are a member how long have you been one. Any other experiences would be great to hear. Or just your thoughts on why you would never join one.

    really new N-scaler

Let me also extend a welcome. I'm not much on track planning, but I do love doing scenery. You'll find many great modelers here with plenty of help and ideas.

Alternative (EASY!) Method to plastering scenery (Pics!)

Great idea. While I still use plaster cloth, I have done the exact thing (I used hydrocal), sprinkled a dry mixture over the plaster cloth go give it either a smoother texture or a rougher texture. Only I used a teaspoon and sprinkled it on and sprayed it with water and using latex gloves...

    A CP station

I like the window frames too. The things that you can do with cardboard and cereal boxes just amazes me. Can't wait to see it when it's done.

    To Introduce The A & T RR

Well, let me add my welcome! Yes, and please do post pictures of your work. I would have to agree about this forum being my home. I've tried others and I have encountered either elitist snobs, sexists or grumpy old men. Welcome aboard!!!

Another little depot kit - just finished!

Nide depot. What color is it? In the chat room it looked red but on this thread it looks reddish brown. I love the roof too. I couldn't see that detail last night. I accidently got somewhat the same effect on my train depot. I had painted it and Glen sprayed it with Dull Kote and it gave...

    My N scale layout...coming along

I like the night pictures. As for your fall colors, they look great. There's nothing worse, to me, than to look at a layout and see a sea of the same green color. What you've done sort of breaks up the scene and gives it visual interest. From what I can see, your scenery looks like the very...

My Latest Creation - Laser cut kit

The laser kits really are so much more expensive, but probably well worth it. You did a great job on it.

    Been Havin' Some Troubles

I am truly sorry to hear about your condition. I would never have guessed from looking at the work that you do that you were suffering with losing your sight. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts.

    51 years

Just want to add my congratulations too! It takes patience, understanding and dedication by two people to make a marriage last that long in a time of throw away marriages. Hats off to you both!

The layout I made from The Box

Looks like you really have taken the bull by the tail - what a fantastic layout. Love the scenery and buildings. You must have really been "in the zone". Can't wait to see the finished product - but then, are they ever really finished?
