Oh and the landing gear really got frustrating for some reason, my brain just couldn't figure them out, so I omitted them altogether, although I will make them magnetized for the plastic one.

This is an awesome model to build, built mine about a year or so ago. I have started one in polystyrene now. There is a few screw ups that I did on the paper one that I'm going to do better with the styrene one. You'll enjoy this model, it's very fun and a good challenge.

Ive played EQ for many years, from 2001 till now, although I don't do much anymore and for the last couple years I usually just buy a couple months at a time then stay away for a month. I do the Project 1999 mainly now.

Completed this yesterday...finally. Will airbrush a few coats of floor polish on it this weekend. Still have an R2 unit to make but in no hurry to do that. Turned out alright but we all say that about our own projects because we see every mistake we have made. Next project is the Viper.

Thanks for the comments, I got a bit more done on it today. I finished the outer hull and cockpit. Also completed the first laser cannon....36 pieces to that sucker! I have the Viper already to go for my next project, pretty excited to start that and also complete this one.

Been working a few hours a week on this one, actually its my second attempt. The first attempt was started last year or so and I wasn't happy with it so i started a second one. Quite a fun kit, lots of fiddly bits but pretty fun! I think i need to clean my keyboard, seems to be a mess!
