    PT-17 Stearman Crop Duster

Yes I see, but overall, Julius version is very basic for a beginner. There are more discrepancies but I will adapt to them. Going slow for the moment but here are some updates on the beta build. The landing gear is a long paper stick which enters into the fuselage and is glued to the frontal...

    PT-17 Stearman Crop Duster

This is what I am presently working on, Taking Julius (Paper-Replika) Stearman and modifying it into an early version of the old Bi-Plane cropduster like the one seen in Independence day. I am making a full cockpit for the two seater version and the single seater cropduster. It requires a bit of...

    Introduction

Welcome aboard to you and your wife. If you see something that you would like to build, check out the forum for a build thread on it. By doing so, you will learn of any problems with the kit and how to adapt to it. Paper is a forgiving material, and if you screw up, you can always print...

    Space Wulf Dreadnaught

All good things must come to an end and so it is with the Dreadnaught. It is now part of the paper model archives. I am pleased to those who looked in now and then and enjoyed the build thread. It is now time to move on with the next project. I am in the process of rebuilding Julius's PT-17...

    quick look # 44: Three A Team Fortress 2 - 1:6 Robot Heavy (Red)

For a Mech, you picked the right techno music for it. Now if you can do a stop motion sequence for it and put it into action, it does have the articulated joints for it. Heck, make it dance to the Techno Gundam Style.

Thanks for the likes and for looking in on the build project. Almost coming to the end of this build thread. I need to get back to that mech and a special build for a Stearman crop duster.

Thanks for looking in Zathros. This was done thought trial and error. Too wet and the rolled cable comes apart. Mixed with glue and you have to be careful rolling it. The glue wants to stick to your fingers and the cable either becomes fuzzy or comes apart. I sometimes just roll it my way...

    Project Dropship 1:24 / Aliens

Welcome back Jan. I keep looking at your schematics and I see another monster build. Thanks for keeping us appraised of your progress.

More on the Dreadnaught. I could have used electrical wire or thick strings for the hoses but the rolled paper strips came in just fine.

Thanks for looking in and for your comments. As for the silent running bots, the boxy shape is reminiscent of the bots. The pads are constructed a bit differently from the plans. The ball joint is better suited for posing the dreadnaught. Not only that, but is more sturdy for constant...

Thanks for all of the likes. I am pleased that you have looked in and enjoyed my build thread. And so the build thread continues. The foot pad template has added tabs which are to be folded underneath the pad template. A wrapped cylinder is made to fit the ball joint. This will allow for...

Thanks for your kind words. As usual, my build techniques are a bit different but the results is what matters. So here is the next set in the build technique. The ends of the Hydraulics are small cut pieces of paper rods from and ear swab.

    Space Marines Spartan

Great work. Thanks for sharing. The only things needed are the spiky things and impaled heads and body parts that are the trade mark of Chaos, but I am sure you have some of that stuff in your bitz bin. So what is next?

Actually, my grand kids do not have that artistic urge like their grandpa. They are mostly in favor of anything that has to do with ball, baseball, football, basketball, soccer, etc etc. And now to place the new updates on screen for your pleasure. The rolled strip will go on a...

More updates on the Dreadnaught. As you can see by now, my verdsion is slightly different from Eli's. He gave me a great base to start with. That hip joint is the weakest part of the dreadnaught, so to make it strong, I heavily laminated the joint and added drilled holes to insert rods/pins. The...

    MECHAS

These are two mechas that I decided to make and to see if I could make them look something else that paper. The first one, is the Mad Dog or the Vulture. It is about 1/100 scale and in some of the photos, you can make out the figures to put it in perspective to the size of it. This one is to...

Here is the next batch of photos for your enjoyment. The connecting cylinder to the lower hip section was too long so I had to trim it down. If you do not want to roll another cylinder, do not use a knife to cut it off or you may crush the tube. I used my dremel with a cut off wheel for this.

On again with the buld project, it will have at least 71 photos, so you can see at this stage, that there are a a lot more photos coming this way. Here is the next batc on the build.
