The parts for the sword are assembled. I laminated the handguard pieces to 1mm thick, so that the finished handguard will be 2mm thick.
The sword is fully assembled.

This page has two different sword stands that I really like.
This one is a two tiered stand.
Here is the stand with the sword displayed with the sword unsheathed.
Here is an upright stand. This one is similar to the one that comes with the template.
Here is the stand with the sheathed sword next to the armour.
I will be including with stands with this diorama, so that my grandson can choose which one he prefers.
