So sorry to say but at the moment he will not share the template. In the past he did share them but some people offended him so he stopt sharing. Some people behave like sh@#.
Thats ok, i understand that - ive just seen the post on FB myself and wow that would make a great build - tbh with Star Wars being such a popular show im surprised it isnt out there yet. Thankyou for inquiring, much appreciated. The great Internet hunt begins! :toast:

It was on my list to design but then miniarte was designing one and I hoped that he would release it. So I guess I will put it back on my list again.
Yep just had a chat with him myself - i get that designers would be reluctant - its alot of work and hours for people to take the p*$"! out of and its a shame they have to do it - an awesome model though.

Brilliant looking model, but my word, and I do hate to criticize, but in my humble opinion, that's is quite a horrific stand???

It looks like a 3D printing support. But it could double as a maintenance bay or docking port. Add some cranes and transport tunnels and it doesn't look too bad.

I have to admit because of something that happened a few years ago, I have not released any of my work. I have helped many people with theirs, though, helped a guy win a Plastic Model build competition by building him a jet engine for his fantastic tractor trailer. He made the paper jet model look like plastic.

I think it's time to gather line drawings and 3 way orthogonal views, this would be a nice model to design. :)

unfortunately it seems to be a common occurrence these days. The majority of my artwork is not online and i gave up doing most commissions due to people who took advantage. There are so many great designs that would translate to great models - for me its the practical aspect - i can draw em i can build em but the technical faffery is beyond me (without use of previously mentioned and much denied shrinkray ) I tend to end up doing it all in the traditional way pen, paper, ruler, cut, glue, build.

3/4 views will show where things pop out, and help massively. For the building of the model, the general shape can be made from the wire drawing, and the top and bottom views. The other angled views would be necessary to distinguish the height of the individual components and their contour. IMHO ;)
