Yes, there is quite a bit of greebling potential. However, since this is just a beta build. I am not greebling this out.




On to the landing gear!

Now on to the landing gear.

Here are the parts.


Starting with the front strut and skid.
As you can see, I have removed the black "void" areas that are between the strut and the brace.


The strut layers are laminated.


I added the wheelsm the skid, and the wheel guards.




Here are the parts for the faux "landing gear bay"


The faux landing gear bay is assembled.




I attached the gear to the bay.

Moving on to the rear landing gear.

Here are the parts for the wheel mounts.


The wheel mounts are assembled.


Wheels are attached.


The skid is attached.


THe strut is attached.


The base components of the rear landing gear assemblies are assembled.




These are the "L" bracket and rear brace.


The "L" bracket and rear brace are attached.


This is the rear faux landing gear bay parts


The rear faux landing gear bay parts are assembled.



The rear landing gear are attached to the faux landing gear bay parts




THe landing gear system is assembled.

Looking like plastic is insult for me, paper modeler (only if it shoul look like plastic, because original is plastic). It is a joke of course. But fact is that I like more when people say to me it does not look like paper, rather than it looks like plastic

Thank you for the side shots, BTW. They show that the lines are horizontal and don't need to be changed. I'll be going through the instructions this eve and make some additions. Then, I think, there is nothing in the way to release it.

I like lighting and yelowish/brownish tint in Rhavens photos.

Yaknow, one of the most difficult challenges of making a paper model template is determining the colour. Sometimes the model colour shifts during post production and even during production itself. The Viper Mk. I appears tan or light grey depending on the lighting. I chose light grey (5% black) which surprisingly looks spot on - on the model and in pictures. The preview picture of the one I copied above looks almost like the nose had some hefty weathering at the tip. I was pretty surprised how easy it was to nail the colour in this case.

I like lighting and yelowish/brownish tint in Rhavens photos.

Actually, that is because the light shades on the chandelier above my dining room table (which is where I work) as a milky yellowish/brownish colour to them.
