It looks like you're building from scans of the original kit - it's often a good idea to clean up scans and get rid of the artifacts caused by the scanning process. This guy (How to clean up a scanned image: engravings) has a bunch of tips on how to do this with Gimp.
Do you plan to edge colour at the end of the build?
Are the seats, really that bright green, in real life?
Still, that is some really beautiful workmanship!
When I see someone else's model and just looking at it makes me
