Unitrack is more expensive than Atlas Code 80, or Code 55. Even when you include the cost of roadbed and ballasting, its still more expensive. However, it doesn't take as long to get running, and it doesn't take as much skill to get high reliability. So one question you'll need to ask yourself is how much is your time worth? Both will get you to the same endpoint, one does so faster at a higher cost, but without the experience. Unitrack has the most extensive range of sectional track, but does not have flex.

I've used both, will continue to use both.
