Lacquer thinner will work, but is sort of the "nuclear" option - mineral spirits will do, and it's lots less volatile (NOT totally SAFE to breathe/near flame). Bob C.

Canada, eh?
I've been using lacquer thinner for Floquil paints for almost 50 years. It also works as a thinner for Testors Dullcote, Glosscote, Model Masters paint, Pactra, Humbrol, SMP Accupaint and Scalecoat. It's also a great cement for styrene. Wear a two-stage respirator when airbrushing with any of these paints, and provide adequate ventilation.

Thanks for the info ...
I also found another forum that gave another answer.
Xylene or Xylol - 2 parts to 1 part Laquer Thinner makes almost the equilivant of Dio-Sol.

Cannot figure out why my origional post does not appear in the "New/Resent Posts" section. I am a little dense on computers ... any help here?
