i finally got these finished tonight. I started off with a decorated UP Genesis SD70M, cut out the radiator section, then painted and installed the flared section from www.seprotomodels.com then i glued on the original fans and slapped the loco back together.
i think they came out pretty well except that the paint is not an exact match. but some weathering will hide that.
