WOW.. I am rediculously excited to see this one turned out. The work he did on the Aries from 2001 was out of sight. Truly amazing.
I have printed off the K-3p0 and C-3p0 quite awhile back, but have yet to finish them. I had cut numerous really thin strips of paper in various thin sizes and colors to give the abdomens some extra relief and detail and they look great at that point. Now to finish them.
I hope he keeps a trend of Real Space vehicles, with his level of detail and skill.

UHU02's models all seem to be inspired by film or TV programs so who knows with Gravity due to be released maybe a UHU02 model of the International Space Station complete with interior or Space Shuttle. A Mercury Capsule from The Right Stuff or maybe a Gemini Capsule from a film that had one in, I'm sure it must of been in something. I would love an Argo to go with the other Argonaut stuff or the ultimate prize a Trireme from Troy. So many films and a lot of potential models. The "What's Next" element is always one of the most exciting things with UHU02.
Because the swear box is getting a little low, the extended trailer for Gravity. That should top it up a bit!

The best thing about this model is that it will attract the Real Space fans, too. It is directed not only to the Sci-Fi fans.

    Look the other way...

Oh, boy, have you guys seen the shuttles and droids from "Elysium"? :-o THAT is something that if UHU02 decides to touch, it'll instantly become (papercraft) GOLD!

More on the Apollo 13 LEM. There seems to come a certain stage with a UHU02 design that it becomes impossible to not start thinking about what's to come next, it's what I love about following his designs , just how incredible will the next one be?.

I don't think this is the start of the build but just a test of design but it does give the first impression of size.

    Memories....

I just MUST build this model from the Master....

It will just complete my circle of life if I do...

And here's why.... This is a pic of me when I was 6 years old, building my first ever scale model with my Dad. And yes, it was the LEM :cool:

A thing of beauty already, the amount of research that has gone into the detailing of this is just as incredible as the detailing itself.

It is remarkable to watch an artist, nay, a master at work. How can you improve on a work of art? I dare not mention it!!!!{lunar rover?}hush!

The expression "Cough it up it might be a gold watch" comes from the First World War when officer casualties of gas attacks were given pocket watches as compensation for the damage their lungs received. The rank were given a bucket to keep their lungs in when they finally coughed them out. I have run out of superlatives to describe the progress of this amazing model and as I will need the ones I've made up for the build I thought I would explain some popular sayings until I have a suitable collection of new superlatives to spare.
Next time the shocking truth about Brass Monkeys and the devastating affects of the cold on them.
