Thanks RB its starting to find the end of the first project step.I really like how this is coming together!!!
I weryill get a go on your model. NOvery snazzy and a welcome break looking at this rather than having to cut through 4mm of card! Do you want to swop builds?
It is best to cut the recessed areas prior to forming the parts. Also start with cutting the corners first, them connect the straight line cuts to the corners.I started the next stage of the alpha build. To get the fuselage in shape I use waterforming and some household items. The first attempts worked fine but this time I messed up. I used to much water and this is what happend.

But when we turn the fuselage you will see something else.

Thanks for your suggestion. Thats exactly what I did but I failed. May be I have to practice cutting it.It is best to cut the recessed areas prior to forming the parts. Also start with cutting the corners first, them connect the straight line cuts to the corners.
Thank you good to hear you like it.UDE!!
Unexpected Depressurization Event!
seriously, this is fun to watch, nice job!
I use a small round tip "nail dotter" from the beauty supply store. Place the piece on a thin rag or other soft substrate, and take your burnishing tool and press the detail into the paper. It will leave a crease where you rubbed the paper down, It will give the impression of recessed features. Alternatively, it can be done from the backside to produce raised features.Burnishing that sounds interresting how should I do that?
