No, that's the head end. He's passing 391 that outlawed there on the north track about 15 minutes earlier.
The problem was the sun was getting very low, making it almost impossible to shoot westward anywhere near where I was. This curve is OK for the away shot, but there's too many lines, poles, roads and railfans in the other direction:
