    I'm sure many here will be familiar with the artwork of Ian McQue. His hovering boats have been part of the Sci-Fi modelling world for a couple of years now.

    Reminds me of the Floating Chinese restaurant in "The Fifth Element", in concept. ;)

    Exactly! The idea of a boat which floats across the sky established a whole series of artists, not just Ian Mcque. There's been some really beautiful illustrations along that line, but not much in models, unfortunately.

    Some minor progress on the base. I'm getting the figures painted as well as adding a few shop elements.
